Team Building

The PTA organised a Staff Luncheon and Team Building Session on Saturday 27th September 2014 at Enashipai Resort and Spa in Naivasha. Besides eating and participating in the creative team building activities in the serene environment, members of staff learnt that Enashipai is a Maasai word which means ’a place of happiness’.

Riara Primary Children’s Government

In a bid to nurture leadership qualities among the youth, the school formed a children’s government after elections which were held on Monday 15th September 2014. This was conducted after civic education forums were organized after which campaign period commenced. Winners were declared a day after the elections and have since assumed office.  

Energy Conservation

On 29th August this year, the Parents Teachers Association installed a solar panel in the school. Riara Springs Academy’s Science Garden was done by the Science Department headed by Mr. Nashon Gichuhi.The children planted kales, cabbages, carrots, tomatoes and carrots.
